What You Will Need

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 240g Lean beef (grounded)
  • 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 60g Onion (diced)
  • 1 tbsp Parsley (chopped)
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 110g Red and green capsicum (deseeded, cut into strips)

Seasoning

  • 4 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Plum Sauce
  • 2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Chilli Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tbsp White Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Water

How to make it

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine egg, grounded beef, breadcrumbs, onions and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts and form into individual meatballs.
  3. Heat up oil for deep frying in a heavy bottomed pan or wok. Deep fry meatballs until browned. Set aside.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine seasoning mix ingredients. Bring sauce mixture to a boil.
  5. Add in capsicums and cooked meatballs. Simmer until capsicums are slightly softened. Dish out and serve.
