What You Will Need

Ingredients

  • 300 g Mackerel Fillet
  • 40 g Yard-long Green Beans [finely chopped]

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ pc Egg
  • 1 pc Kaffir Lime Leaf [chopped]
  • ½ tsp Chopped Bird’s Eye chilli
  • ¼ tsp Lime Zest
  • ⅛ tsp Black Peppercorn
  • 1 tsp Chopped Lemongrass
  • 1 tsp Chopped Shallot
  • ½ tsp Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic

Dipping

  • 2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee White Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Roasted Peanuts
  • ½ tsp Chopped Bird’s Eye chilli

How to make it

  1. Mash Mackerel fillet. Blend with little salt and water in a mixing bowl until sticky. Add beans and Seasoning Mix and mix thoroughly.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8-10 balls and flatten a bit to form round patties.
  3. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a skillet. Semi deep-fry over medium heat until both sides golden and cooked. Serve with the mixed Dipping Sauce.
