  • 3 crab cakes
  • 1/2 cucumber, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 small carrot, peeled and shredded
  • Pickled ginger (optional)

How to make it

  1. Cook the crab cakes as per packet instructions (in an oven, microwave or pan-fry). Cook the mantou buns also to packet instructions, in a steamer or microwave oven.

  2. To assemble, make a slit to each mantou. Spread inside of the mantou bun with generous amount of hoisin sauce.

  3. Place half a crab cake, along with cucumber, carrot and pickled ginger attractively. Dot with mayonnaise and serve.
